About Serbea Living
The Restaurant
Serbea Living is a literal representation of all the amazing flavors Liberian food has to offer. The owner, Teta Zonen, was born and raised in Liberia. She has always been extremely proud of where she came from. From the beautiful land to the tasty foods. The love for her country birthed the love and passion for cooking as she wanted people to experience Liberia from afar.

Teta attended Iowa Lake College and graduated with a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse for 8 years while cooking and catering before opening Serbea Living Restaurant in 2019.

She began her Catering services and selling her special sauces in 2010. This led her to cater for Birthdays, Baby Showers, Graduation Parties, and many more. In the back of her mind, she felt the yearning sensation to expand in 2019 and launched her restaurant Serbea Living African restaurant in Duluth, GA.

She aspired to have people from many walks of life come and experience good authentic African/Liberian food.

We want our customers to practice healthy eating, therefore we make our dishes with fresh ingredients. Our goal is to also cater to a busy lifestyle, therefore you can get your food in 15-20 minutes.
